Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) secured a hard-fought 18-13 victory against Daystar Falcons in a tense rugby encounter at MMUST Grounds on January 25, 2025. The game, which kicked off at 3:00 PM, was interrupted by a torrential downpour, forcing an early conclusion.
Daystar Falcons showcased resilience but were unable to overturn MMUST’s dominance. MMUST Captain Gaylord Ngasi led his team with remarkable composure, supported by strong performances from Michael Odhiambo and Vincent Omuroka. Daystar’s Elvis Sande, serving as vice-captain, delivered an impressive performance, keeping the Falcons in contention throughout the game.
